Maybelline Baby Lips

Hey Guys So after a long time searching I finally managed to get my hands on the most talked about lip balm this summer, Maybelline's Baby Lips. I don't know if its because there was so much hype surrounding them or because I had such high expectations for this lip balm, but when I finally got it I have to say I wasn't overly impressed with what I'd bought. I bought 'Minty Fresh' and 'Intense Care' mainly because they were the only ones left besides the tinted 'Cherry Lips', which just didn't appeal to me. I always buy lip balm for conditioning purposes so often steer clear of anything that is tinted. Don't get me wrong, I don't actually dislike the product at all I was just expecting a lot more from it due to the stir the range had caused when it came across from the U.S. Both products are fairly decent at moisturising but at the end of the day I don't feel they do much more than a tin of Vaseline which costs half the price.

The best ever bath/body wash combo

Hey everyone! Hope you're all well! This isn't so much a review rather just a post to let you know how in love with these products I am. I picked them up in TK Maxx last week, where I instantly fell in love with them. I had originally seen the Au Lait range from The Scottish Fine Soaps Company in boutique shop in Sheffield not so long ago, however I thought they were a little bit pricey, so when I saw these in TK Maxx at a massively discounted price I snapped them up. The body wash was was £3 and the bathing milk was £5. They are both absolutely gorgeous products and smell amazing. They have definitely become my most favourite bathing products for the moment as not only do they smell incredible but they are also super moisturising. If you see these around I urge you to give them a try. You won't regret it! They can be found here  on the company's website along with the rest of the range, but at the original price. To be honest even if I can't get these products

Boots Haul

Hey Guys! So here's my first ever haul post! I got this lot at Boots over the weekend with most of my purchases being based around reviews/recommendations I've read recently. I'm not going to give massive detailed reviews of each product, as that would be too long, so i'm just going to give a brief overview of what I think about each one. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair This is a truly brilliant product. A small amount really does go a long way and the coverage this product gives is second to none. The price of this product is amazing and so far I haven't found anything better for the price! It can be found online at  Boots.com  for £4.19  Maybelline The Volum Express Falsies Flared Mascara I really like this mascara. It adds great length to lashes and really does flare them out. I'm not as astounded by this mascara as i'd first hoped, but that hasn't stopped me from using it on a daily basis and being pretty pleased w

The Curly Hair Essentials

Over the years I have been on a quest to find any products that can attempt to tame my unruly mane. I have the curliest hair known to man, which can be both a blessing and a curse at the same time. Blessing because in essence I can get away with going months between having to have my highlights re-done and a curse as it does take a lot effort to try and maintain, so that it doesn't look like a giant ball of frizz. I go to the hairdressers roughly once every two months to have a deep conditioning treatment, a cut and sometimes my highlights re-done, but in the mean time I use the following products to keep my hair under control: Lee Stafford Argan Oil  Once I've washed my hair, I brush it thoroughly with the Macadamia No Tangle Brush (Best brush ever! Review to come.) and rub this oil into the ends of my hair, sometimes adding the tiniest bit to the roots if my hair is really dry. This oil is amazing. I have used other oils such as the Macadamia Oil and for me there is

B. Pure Micellar Water

When I was in Superdrug a few weeks ago I saw this on my way to the check out and completely jumped at the chance to finally try out the craze that has swept the blogging world. This is my first product from the B. range at Superdrug and I'm already impressed. I didn't know what to expect from micellar water, having never tried one before, but I have found it pretty effective so far. I use this as my first cleanse to get rid of any initial make-up and impurities that are on my skin before I go onto wash my face with a liquid gel cleanser. I literally sweep this over my face with a cotton pad and its extremely effective at getting rid of most make up. It isn't amazing with waterproof mascara so I do end up using my bi- phase eye make-up remover to get rid of any remaining mascara, but on the days when I haven't gone for the water proof stuff it's perfect. To be honest though, apart from Boots No.7 Beautiful Skin Eye Make-up Remover I haven't yet found anythi

Vita Coco

So today whilst I was in Tesco I decided to jump on the coconut water bandwagon. I know the blogging world and celebrities have been on this for a while but I had never actually had the inclination to try it until I saw it today. The reason coconut water has become so popular in the celebrity world is because of its low calorie content (18 calories per 100ml) and there are supposedly a number of other health benefits you can gain from drinking coconut water. It is apparently the choice of beverage for those who are dieting and those wishing to "hydrate naturally" after a particularly heavy work out at the gym. Due to the high levels of magnesium and potassium found in the water this can apparently help the body to recover quicker after exercise. I didn't try it after I had been to the gym I drank it as opposed to my normal bottle of water, to shake things up a bit, crazy! (it isn't intended to replace you daily water intake) and have to say I actually quite enjoy

My perfect summer moisturising duo

I promise you this post isn't sponsored by Garnier! It just so happens that these are the two products I love during the summer months. During summer it's essential to keep moisturised to maintain the summer glow that you may have acquired from going abroad (or this year from the gorgeous weather we've had in the UK!) and the Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days is perfect for hydrating thirsty skin, whilst the Garnier Ambre Solaire After Sun is brilliant for maintaining your tan.  Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days  The reason I love this product so much is because it is such a light moisturiser. It's very easily absorbed and leaves your skin feeling beautifully soft. The light scent you get from the Shea Butter isn't heavy and doesn't linger which I quite like in a moisturiser so it doesn't affect the scent of my perfume. I'm unsure as to it's 7 day moisturising claim as I have never actually gone a week without using this product but there has been

The First Ever Post

Hi Everyone! So this is the first thing I have ever written on a blog. In fact, it is the first thing I have ever posted on the internet which has not involved a 140 character limit or been through the medium of a status update.  It has taken me a fair while to get round to creating one, what with me thinking one thing and another, however I've finally got here and thus El's Beauty Bazaar has been created! Over the past few months I have become increasingly interested in the world of blogging particularly with blogs concerned with all things beauty. So after reading the brilliant insights everyone had to offer on everything beauty related I decided that I wanted to join in with the opinions too! I can't wait to share some of my opinions and reviews on products that I love or maybe hate...with those who are just as obsessed with the world of beauty as I am. I'm really excited to hear from all other beauty bloggers out there and can't wait to start posting some
